Hello everyone! Today we talk about benefit majorette review. And for good reason, it’s a cream blush, the very first and only one I have at the moment! This is the Benefit Blush Majorette!I bought it as soon as it was released in 2014, completely snapped up by the brand’s marketing, sometimes then left “for dead” in the drawers.
I took it out a little while ago and I took it with me on vacation. History to give him his chance somehow;)
Benefit Majorette Review
Already visually it is a real little wonder for the eyes! In the shape of a small drum with a cheerleader printed on it, it is clearly inspired from the universe of the brass band down to its smallest details! Unprecedented in the world of makeup, it is surely for this reason that he made so much talk about him.Benefit is a very meticulous brand in its packagings and this is reminiscent of that of my mascara darling the Roller Lash .
When we open the magnetic box, we find there a little instruction booklet, which I did not preserve. A plastic dome protects the blush and it is recommended to put it back after each use to preserve the product for as long as possible;)Originally, a sun was engraved on the blush but it unfortunately disappeared over the uses.
Besides its packaging, I also and above all bought this blush for its color, it is a beautiful coral orange matt.It is a fairly universal color that goes to all skin tones, from the clearest to the darkest. So I knew that by choosing it I could not be wrong!A few years ago, I swear by this color, as much in the clothes as in the makeup! I still like coral but I have discovered other horizons;)
During the swatches, I was quite amazed by this texture. First cream, it becomes powder in contact with the skin. I had already read it in the description of the brand but it is always amazing to see it with his eyes.I think I prefer this because with my skin mixed to oily, I did not see myself putting a cream blush that remains cream you see.
However, I noticed that when I tried to “diffuse” my swatch on my hand, and it was complicated, the material was spread quite badly. As you will have understood, it is necessary to work it rather quickly because if you wait too much, like me, it becomes pain lost.Apart from that the blush is very pigmented and very opaque, the whole from the first passage. That promises promises!
For this texture half-cream, half-powder, I chose the brush duo fiber of Elf. The best type brush in my opinion for this kind of texture. This makes it possible to preserve a much pigmented material and to be able to apply it sparingly for a lighter and diffuse rendering.
I take the material and tap my brush on the top of my cheekbones then I go down on my cheek.
Rendering and holding
The color is really pretty even on my very light skin. It gives a good natural looking effect. The appearance is fresh and velvety.Benefit offers us to put this blush as is or to use it as a base to “pimper” another blush.

I recognize that even with a -20%, we remain hesitant. But honestly once you have it in your hands, you will not regret for a moment your acquisition;))
