Hi girls and boys! Today we talk about body shop camomile cleansing butter reviews. It seems to me that it’s been a while since I have not told you about care products and yet I have a few new ones in my bathroom that really deserve to be talked about! But here you have to choose and with one article a week, hard hard to decide! ;))
A little over 2 months ago I placed an order on The Body Shop website. From a certain amount of purchase, the brand offered 20% on the entire order! Being out of a few products, I took the opportunity to redo my stock!
Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter Reviews
I am not going to tell you about the whole of this order because another ticket dedicated to these products is planned.I have already told you many times that I swear by oil to remove make-up. My favorite is the sublime shine oil from L’Oreal, which I had already presented in my article “evening routine” from last year.
But last March, by emptying my 6th bottle, I decided to test something else and that is when I got my hands on the sublimely cleansing butter with the Camomile The Body Shop .
I really wanted an oil because it is what is most effective to remove any trace of makeup effortlessly including waterproof. When I discovered that there was a butter version, I figured why not!Packaging
The butter comes in a round aluminum packaging with a capacity of 90ml. Comparatively, the capacity is lower than L’Oreal oil (150ml).
This packaging is perfect to take it on your weekends and holidays. It takes up less space than a classic makeup remover and especially, no risk of leakage!
We learn about the packaging that the butter is made of chamomile extract from Norfolk in England.
The product is recommended for all skin types, even sensitive.
On the back, there are even instructions for use for those who are not familiar with this texture;)
It is uncovered by unscrewing the lid. It just looks like a kind of white paste.
I planted my finger in it and contrary to what the visual suggests us, it is soft and digs rather easily. The texture is less thick and greasy than real butter. It is lighter and fuller.
On the level of the smell, it is really very nice, it smells clean and flowers, surely chamomile.
I confess that the most perilous part of the story is the dosage of butter! We are not in pastry, there is no balance and recipe with precise measurements, and here it is to the feeling!
And frankly the first time I took so much material that the application became hyper unpleasant so I had oil on my face. The next time I did not take enough and I really had to rub my eyelashes so that the mascara agrees to detach itself.
If I can reassure you, since I took the hand and I manage to dose well. I put two large hazelnuts of product on my eyes and then I gently massage on the finger, insisting on my fringe of eyelashes and on my lower lash of eyelashes.
Butter becomes oil when spread on the skin. It is as if we had more (+) material and in the end these two big hazelnuts originally intended for the eyes also allow me to completely remove make-up from my face. It is therefore a very economical product because of its consistency.
The fact that the butter is not as liquid as an oil even heated on the face makes it possible to avoid putting it inadvertently in the eyes and to have the look blurred.
Once the face is well removed, I proceed as with any other oil, I emulsify the matter with a little water, even if not recommended by the mark. This makes it possible to remove the last residues of makeup. And finally I rinse the whole.
The butter left no greasy film on my skin and it may seem harmless but it is very important for me. I like to choose products that are comfortable and pleasant to my skin.
Attention, I remind you that make-up removal, no matter the product used, does not clean the face! So after this step I use a cleanser to purify my face and finally I finish with a cotton moistened with precious water. If the cotton remains clean, it is because the mission has been accomplished!
The pros :
- – practical and ergonomic packaging, perfect to take on holiday
- – very pleasant odor of clean and flowers
- – Removes all makeup even waterproof
- – light and melting texture
- – Do not fall into the eyes
- – Do not leave a greasy film
The – :
- – The price: 14 € the 90ml (but be careful it is promo at this time at 9 €!)
- – Difficulty to properly dose the material
And well after two months of use I can tell you that I am really happy with my purchase! This cleansing butter is a pure wonder, it removes make-up perfectly and smells good, and I do not see what I could ask for more!
On the other hand I still think to opt for the version oil make-up remover for daily use because I prefer the ease of pressing a bottle pump to dose my product.
