Hi friends today we talk about body shop hemp hand cream review. The Rescue Balm with Hemp. For me it is quite atypical because of its packaging and its composition.
Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream Review
And I love the products that make me this effect: it makes me want to test them, to discover them, and to see even more. Decidedly, the more I explore this brand and the more it attracts my curiosity.
But in fact what is this product?
The Rescue Balm (Rescue Balm) helps to relieve, protect and instantly hydrate the dryest areas of the body, such as elbows, knees … and feet! Yes I know, it’s not very glamorous but let’s say this is the part of the body where the effects will be most visible to me.
A vintage and retro packaging (of which I am totally fan): a box (of sardines OK I go out!) In metal of 100ml with the removable lid with written inside “Hemp is hope, not dope”. I think there’s no need to translate. At least, the box is robust, the capacity is generous, ideal to do all the parts of the body that need it.
Texture and Odor
A soft but melting butter-like texture as I adore them. I find this kind of product comforting, cocooning, bewitching … In principle this texture penetrates quickly while leaving a protective film on the surface of the skin. In principle ! With this kind of product, I think I always tend to take too much, but with this one, it is better not. Little is needed (to be happy), otherwise we find ourselves with the hands all fat.
Use and assets
This balm therefore applies in massage on the very dry areas of the body, in no case on the face. Here are the main assets in their order of presence in the product (1st in the list = in greater quantity)
Soya oil : makes the skin soft and velvety thanks to the vitamin E and the lecithin that it contains. Proven antioxidant properties, it is very fluid and quickly absorbed by the skin.
Beeswax : softens, soothes the skin.
Ricin seed oil : softens, softens, moisturizes and increases the water content of the skin, to keep it soft and smooth.
Babassu seed oil (Amazonian tree): has a great fluidity and penetration in the skin (for the massages), protects, hydrates and softens the skin.
Shea butter : nourishing and repairing.
Hydrogenated castor oil, hempseed oil, carnauba wax and citric acid are also found.I am pleasantly surprised by the rich and quality composition of this product.
Verdict, do we buy or not?
I love this product: its packaging, its texture, its smell, its composition, its effectiveness (it really nourishes the very dry areas, provided it is regular in its applications).
The only downside I give is that you have to learn how to dose it, not too much, not enough, otherwise you end up with greasy hands and all shiny (even washing them). It really is a very resistant balm.
