Hello girls and boys, Today we discuss Chanel velvet foundation reviews I think this is what we prefer to test on the blog, finally with the eyebrow products this goes of of course!
I have had Chanel’s Perfection Lumière Velvet for a long time, since its release concretely (about two years ago) and I have just let myself be tempted!
Chanel Velvet Foundation Reviews
It was a few months that I alternated between L’Oréal’s Nude Magique Cushion foundation and the Erborian Ginseng BB cream and clearly I wanted to find something more covering and more unifying.I hesitated to take back my old darling of all time, the smooth complexion perfecteur of Shiseido but I read that it was going to be discontinued unfortunately! So I looked for something else and I remembered the foundation that had always intrigued me and that looked so perfect for my skin type!
The Perfection Light Velvet is a flush effect foundation with an SPF15.It presents, a little in the way of Shiseido smoothing complexion complexion, in a black plastic bottle. It is sober, classy but especially so practical! In addition you just have to turn it and lightly press the bottle so that the product comes out.
It is ideal to transport, it does not take place and it is not likely to break!I overvalid this packaging! And especially this little Chanel logo so classy on the cork!
This foundation is supposed to smooth and unify naturally the complexion, like a second skin effect. The rendering would be matt velvety and leave like a powdered veil.Lightweight and light to medium coverage, its watery texture would suit perfectly according to Chanel to normal and mixed skins with oily tendency.
Beautiful promises, finally good at the same time it takes many as tempting to be tempted! If you start to know my expectations of foundation, you know surely that I always look for a matte but not plaster, and that I rarely go beyond the average coverage to keep a minimum of “natural”;)
This foundation really seemed ideal but in view of its price, not the most tempting (count 44.95 € anyway!), I waited for a gift card and the -25% from Sephora. I love testing new products but it will be told that even for a Beauty Addict like me, disbursing so much for a foundation always deserves reflection!I chose it in its lighter shade 10 Beige, perfect for my skin tone.
First of all, the bottle must be shaken as the small drawing on the finger of the packaging indicates. So important point, Chanel recommends to apply her foundation with your fingers. Honestly I did it before when I started in makeup but since I always use a brush or beauty blender. So there I was moderately excited by the idea.I must admit that I tested the 3 methods of application all the same and it turned out that the recommendations of the brand were the best! Thanks to this, we save considerably of the product since I only need 2 drops for the whole of my face!
I felt it under my fingers during the application, this foundation is actually powdered which makes the gesture super nice. That’s why I decided to apply it alone without any powder on top, to test this little jewel! It easily manages to cover my redness at the nose and reduces the presence of my moles and freckles without making them disappear. Good for now we have everything good because that is exactly what I wish!
Moreover, I noticed that in case I do not wear my lenses and where my dark circles are not too conspicuous, I can easily do without anti dark circles with this foundation! In the end at the level of the price one finds there because no need for powder, or anti dark circles in my case! (No I’m not looking for excuses: p)
In any case the result pleases me enormously because this foundation blurs my pores and my skin seems really magnified. Moreover it keeps all day!
Unfortunately I strongly advise against people with areas of dryness too marked or just dry skin because this foundation will automatically mark these areas dehydrated. This was the case for some imperfections that I have on the chin. I apologize in advance for this disgraceful close-up but it was to better illustrate my remarks;))

- – Long lasting!
(I am already hallucinating on the number of positive points that count this foundation!)
The – :
- – High price: 44,95 € approximately
- – Only 6 choices of colors available, to be avoided for very dark skins or black unfortunately.
- – Mark the areas of drought
- – Perfect application to the finger only (result not maximum with the brush or the sponge)
Chanel Perfection Light Velvet is my first luxurious foundation and I am absolutely thrilled, conquered limit! It is really ideal for my mixed skin! It matifies by letting a natural glow settle on my Zone T after a few hours.I love the texture of this foundation under my fingers and the powdered, natural effect it brings on my face.
Honestly my skin is not as photoshoped as Marc’s Re (Marc) able to be tested and approved by Cyrielle but it really magnifies my complexion! It’s sort of an intermediary if you’re looking for something lighter and less covering!
I can say that my new dyed routine suits me 99%!
