Hi Friends today we talk about narsissist unfiltered cheek palette review. I come back to you to count you my last “little” discovery!A week ago, a few days after the end of the -25% at Sephora, I decided to go on an innocent tour on the website. And there I fall on this palette of Nars: The Narcissist cheek, contour and Lip palette.
I still do not understand how I did not notice it earlier or hear about it when it came out a little while ago for the summer collection 2017.
Narsissist Unfiltered CheekPalette Review
I do not know why but I had the impression that she was waiting for me! Good ok, the reduction Sephora pushed me completely to the purchase (if not forced limit! No I do not find any excuse). But be careful for my discharge, I did the calculation quickly: 3 blush + 1 bronzer + a highlighter + a mini gloss = 31 € = super good plan!Good also because it is Nars, a brand that I particularly appreciate, and that it is a limited edition that could disappear at any moment!
When I went to pick it up in store (thank you the click & collect to avoid paying the shipping charges! ^^), I felt like going to retrieve a small jewel (my preciousxxxx).
Good already visually, it is a beautiful palette, we cannot say that it is not successful! What I particularly like is the ultra-practical mirror top!Limited edition = new packaging, no black gum that usually covers Nars packaging and which is incidentally quite messy;)It can be slipped in its bag to check its makeup and possibly make some retouching.
When it opens, we discover a first compartment which contains :
- – The Blush Enrapture (terracota pink matt)
- – The Blush Enthralled (old rose with fine gold glitter)
- – The Blush Roman holiday (cold matte pastel pink)
- – Mini gloss Istria (an almost transparent pink baby)
And it’s not over !
We discover a “little hiding place” which conceals:
- – The high lither Albatross (a white with golden reflections)
- – The Laguna tan (a warm brown with golden reflections)
These two very products that I wish to discover for a long time ;)The blush and the gloss are limited editions that you will not be able to find in full size.
At the level of the swatches it is observed that all the powders are rather well pigmented but not too much either. No need to go quietly with a duo fiber brush to avoid the Russian doll cheeks. I use my blush brush from Real Techniques and it is absolutely perfect.
The first two blushes are fairly similar in color but differ from their finish (matte for Enrapture and satin glitter for the Enthralled). I love these rosewood colors especially seated on my skin tone. The 3rd is completely unique to me; I have nothing of the kind in my makeup that looks like it. This pink baby cold is hard to tame but once you know with what to associate it makes really good!
Same observation for the 2nd compartment, everything is well pigmented, little powdery. The Albatros deserves its reputation, it is really beautiful, reflects light well without doing too much. I use it very regularly alternately with my Candlelight Glow from Too Faced.
When the very famous Laguna, I am quite mixed, I find it a little orange; I thought it was colder than that. For contouring, it’s not for me! It contains light golden glitter which would push me more to use it as highlight than in quality of tanning, business to follow!
We will now take stock of the NARS cheek contour and Lip palette:
- – Nomadic palette and very practical
- – Possibility to discover several products in one palette
- – Attractive packaging and large mirror
- – Pretty colors of blush
- – Beautiful quality, pigmentation and few falls at the rendezvous
- – Highliter Albatros at the height of its reputation
- – Good value for money
The – :
- – Gloss unpleasant and without interest (good idea in itself
- Anyway) – Bronzer too orange and iridescent
- – No brushes (which would have made a really perfect travel palette)
- – Limited Edition
I had little blush and I found myself with more choice and very beautiful colors. The highliter Albatross is up to my expectations, I love it! Small disappointment for the tan and the gloss but nothing that could hinder my enthusiasm!
I am really pleased with my purchase and I can only advise you to take a look if you want a practical palette that can make you discover new products of beautiful quality at very correct price! I still bought this palette at the same price as a blush full size of Nars!
