Hello everyone! Today we talk about Sephora collection bronzer powder review. It is simple, since I make up, I used only two bronzers: the Nude Tan by Dior and the Pro-Bronze Fusion Make up For Ever . Well, I admit that I also digged the bronze of the pink Rose Golden Zoeva but I did not wear as much as his other two buddies;)
I was looking for a new tan to change a little and I was completely seduced by the visual of the 2016 edition of Sephora Sun Disk! I had already heard many of the previous collections so I did not hesitate above all considering the quantity and price: 18,50 €.
Sun Disk Sephora: My new bronzing powder
I do not know if I really need to comment on this wonder! Sephora was inspired by the majestic doors of the oriental palaces and the result is truly superb and captivating. Without this design, I might not have brought this tan to me!
The Sun Disk is really very wide and even exceeds the palm of my hand. It is of the same format as the edition for the Olympic Games of Rio that Cyrielle has already presented to you in video.
Sephora Collection Bronzer Powder Review
From the opening, a pleasant smell of clean, similar to that of a cream Nivéa, emerges. And there you have a view of the beautiful oriental design! There are three slightly iridescent colors: a caramel, a stronger brown and a light coral in the centerUnder the lid, an enormous mirror that really constitutes a very good point!
The first time I switched this Sun Disk I was quite surprised. The product is much pigmented and quite dark compared to my complexion. And then I got a little worried, will I be able to wear it or not ?!Sephora specifies however in the product description that the sundisk sublimates all the skins of an ultra natural, without traces and inratable!
As much to say, with a classic tanning brush and on my skin clear, it’s disaster! It looks like I tanned the face but not my neck and neckline = result not natural at all!
Clearly this tan requires an application with a duo fiber if you are my skin tone. This brush is essential! It allows to take much less material and offers a much more natural rendering.
But still you need some advice not to miss your complexion;)
I pick the lightest powder on the outside with my Luxie duo fiber brush. I pat my brush on the back of my hand to remove a little pigment before working the powder in “3” on my face: temples, hollow cheeks and maxilla.
Note that no fall of product is to be deplored, the bronzer is not at all powdery which is really appreciable.
Finally, I take another duo fiber, this time from Elf and I take the apricot from the middle to apply it on my cheekbones. The whole thing is easy to work and to blend.
I find that my complexion is really magnified with this combination of powders. The light brown makeup allowed me to warm my face and the blush gave it a little more “life”.In the end my brush sometimes touches the darkest color without really using it.
The + :
- – Lots of product for only 18,50 €
- – Beautiful oriental design
- – Very pigmented powder – Combination
- Of 3 complementary colors
- – Easy to work powders
- – Large mirror
The – :
- – Need to have a duo fiber brush
- – More advisable for dull skins
- – Very imposing format, not practical to take anywher
My record on the Sun Disk Eastern Sephora 2016 edition is rather mixed.
It’s not the kind of tan that I can choose when I have only a few minutes to prepare. It is too pigmented and too dark for my clear skin and requires time to get a portable result. It is still a beautiful product as much in its case as worn, I can deny.
If you have dull skin, I can only recommend the sundisk that will easily sublimate your skin tone!If you have a clear skin like mine, I advise you to pass your way. I think we can find a tan much easier to use for a similar rendering.
