Hi girls and boys, Today we talk about too faced sketch marker eyeliner review. I know more original than that the intro you die but what do you want, I often do not know what to start! One thing is certain, I know what I’m going to tell you about: Sketch Marker by Too Faced .
I think this is my sixth or seventh eyeliner review on Makeup.com, not to mention all the ones I tested before joining the team! In short, the eyeliner knows me and I love it!
Too Faced Sketch Marker Eeyeliner Review
I had the Sketch Marker at Christmas but know that you can find it at the price of 19,60 € at Sephora and for a little cheaper if you have a coupon code;)
For a quick reminder, here is my top 3 eyeliner:
- – The Tattoo Liner by Kat Von D
- – The Magic Marc’er by Marc Jabobs
- – The liquid eyeliner Dolly Wind
- We will now see if that of Too Faced has its place among the great ones;)
Eyeliner Sketch Marker TOO FACED: The test!
Too Faced does not talk about a lambda eyeliner but an artistic liquid eyeliner that would be inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens. Fine and flexible brush = mastery of the plot and thickness of the line.Regarding the so-called “exceptional” formula, it would allow a smooth, vivid and waterproof line. All is said!
I own the Sketch Marker in the Deep Espresso color which is a dark brown. It is a cold color, devoid of any red pigment, pulling a chouia towards the khaki.I am glad to have received this tint because it changes me black and fits well with my favorite makeups (whether with the Sweet Peach palette of Too Faced or with the Cocoa Blend of Zoeva !).
The Sketch Marker by Too Faced is rather simple in its form, quite classic. The color of the tube corresponds to the color of the product which is really a good thing. His originality? Its pen type cap with a small heart at the tip. It’s adorable, it’s Too Faced! At the level of the mouthpiece, one is in a point style felt, thin and supple. This is what I prefer to draw the perfect line! 😉
Indeed, the layout is simple and the line is very smooth. However I have encountered some problems with the opacity of the material, and it is not for fault of having well shaken the liner before use!
The texture is not homogeneous, sometimes “normal” sometimes a little more liquid. I have areas where there are pigments and others where the line is really very clear … I often have to resort to a second layer to overcome this problem.Otherwise no worries to manage the thickness of the stroke. The comma is done without problem.
Well the result is perfect, by far only. Close up, I see this problem of opacity that was lacking during the application. And me when I know it, it stresses me!
Honestly since my first application at Christmas, I learned to go beyond this worry because it must be confessed that the color goes so well with most of my makeups! So, if not by far yes I could possibly validate the rendering;))
Level comfort, nothing to report, I do not feel it on my eyelids. It does not freeze or crumble like a Kiko color liner. Its outfit is excellent, a whole day without problems and without transfer!
Too Faced’s Marker sketch is undeniably a good liner, but not good enough to be part of my top 3.Despite the application of the simplest and irreproachable behavior, the material fishing by an unevenness of pigmentation. As is the case with many ranges of liners (such as liquid lipsticks besides), the formulas and the renderings can be different according to the colors. My girlfriend has blue and did not encounter any worries.

So I recommend the Marker sketch only to those looking for precisely this kind of unpublished colors and who are just like me fans of this soft and precise brush tip!
