A boil, as the name suggests, looks like a bump on the skin and is caused due to localized infection of the deeper layer of the skin we will talk about how to treat boils at home. If a boil is benign, it can be easily treated at home with simple methods. Best method to get rid of a boil is to start the treatment as soon as it is noticed. Application of hot soaks and heat packs is very effective. - Garlic extract or onion juice has great antibiotic properties and their application can dry out the pus.
- Make a mixture of I cup bitter gourd juice and I tsp limejuice. Empty stomach consumption for a period of 1 month effectively cleanses the blood and is helpful in fighting blood filled boils.
- Make a paste of 1 tsp milk cream with Milk cream with ½ tsp vinegar a pinch of turmeric. Apply this paste over blood filled boil. Wash off after 30 minutes. This dries out the pus. Antibiotic properties of turmeric work like a magic.
- Grind cumin seeds in water to make a paste. Apply this paste on top of boil and see the magical results.
