National Museum of Pakistan

There are numerous types of museums including natural history museums, art museums, war museums, science museums and for kids museums to be found in Pakistan. National museum karachi is one the most famous and popular museum in Karachi. National Museum of Pakistan is situated at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi, Pakistan. It was constructed in Frere Hall on April 17, 1950 for replacing Victoria Museum. National museum of Pakistan is one the largest museum in Pakistan. The first and foremost aim of museum was to encourage history of Pakistan. There were well-known antiquities and Arts work comprising”The Priest King” statue wearing Sindhi Ajruk.

There were only four galleries in the Museum in 1970. However, now a days there are a total of 11 Galleries in the Museum. The Museum also contains a significant collection of things connecting to Pakistan’s Cultural heritage. National Museum of Karachi has a set of 70,000 books, 58,000 old coins and some reading material. There are about 11 balconies in this museum and beautiful “Gallery Koran” too which increase its beauty. National museum of Pakistan is one the most famous place in history of Pakistan. It is also good place for art lover. National of Pakistan has a lot of importance and value in Pakistan history.

The national museum of Pakistan contains a most significant series of item relating to Pakistan’s early heritage. It has also very well approved galleries that presents Gandhara sculptures, Indus Civilization, ancient coins, Islamic art, Miniature paintings and manuscripts documenting Pakistan’s political history. There is also an attractive and ethnological gallery in national museum of Pakistan.

I personally believe that national museum of Pakistan is one of the best museum in Pakistan. If anyone want to know about the past history of Pakistan he must visit to this museum.
