Special Pakistani Eid Recipes

Seekh Kaleji

Ingredients :

  • Mutton liver (cut it into small pieces) ½ kg
  • 1 table spoon Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Coriander leaves 
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tspCumin powder 
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Vinegar 2 table spoon
  • All spice powder half table spoon.

Step By Step Instructions :

  1. Marinate mutton with cumin powder, coriander leaves, green chillies, , chili powdervinegar and all spice powder for 2-3  hours.
  2. Cook it over the open flame on skewers.
  3. Yummy Seekh kaleji is ready . Serve it with ketchup and enjoy with your family.

Liver Masala/Kaleji Masala

Ingredients

  • Liver half kg cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • Whole spice 
  • Oil half cup
  • Coriander powder 
  • Salt 
  • Green chillies 
  • Ginger slices 
  • Nutmeg grinded
  • Mace  grinded
  • Chilli powder
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Onion 

Step By Step Instructions for cooking

  1. Heat half cup oil in a pan.
  2. Add whole spices and fry.
  3. Then mix some ginger garlic paste, coriander powder ,salt and fry it well for at least 10 mints, keep adding water if it sticks to the pan.
  4. After that mix whipped yogurt and add brown onions with liver then fry it for 10 minutes.
  5. At the end add salt, spice powder, grounded nut meg powder and mace, chopped coriander leaves and green chillies.
  6. It is ready to server, garnish it with fresh ginger and green chillies.

Baghare Baigan Recipe

Ingredients

  • Brinjal half Kg Small size 
  • Ginger garlic paste 
  • Chilli powder 
  • Salt 
  • Cumin powder 
  • Coriander powder
  • Brown onion Grinded 
  • Oil
  • Peanuts
  • Coconut 
  • Tamarind pulp 
  • Sesame seeds 
  • white cumin 
  • 15 Curry leaves
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Onion seeds 

Step By Step instructions

  1. Make four small cuts in brinjals but try not to separate them and keep these intact and start cooking including the stem.
  2. In a frying pan, add cooking oil on low heat and add baghar stuff which is cumin seeds, onion seeds and curry to the frying pan.
  3. Then add brinjals into it and keep frying it for  couple of minutes and then take these cooked brinjals out.
  4. Add a little water and remaining all the spices to the pan.
  5. At the end ,Add the brinjals and cook.
  6. After adding tamarind pulp, cook it for 10 minutes keep it covered
